Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium extract approved as a biocidal active substance for use in repellents

Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium extract from open and mature flowers of Tanacetum cinerariifolium obtained with supercritical carbon dioxide has been approved as an active substance for use in biocidal products of type 19 (PT1) – Repellents in accordance with Regulation (EU) no. 528/2012 of the European Parliament and the Council.

By January 1, 2024, all manufacturers of biocidal products containing Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium Extract must submit an application for authorization if they wish to continue selling their products.
